Not all extraction is equal — pulling water off a surface and actually removing it from carpet pad, subfloor, and wall cavities are different jobs entirely. Our Water Extraction crews do the second one.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
None of this changes for a small job either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
The quote reflects the actual square footage and severity, not a per-gallon meter running up.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
We clear the obvious water fast, then go after what's still trapped in materials.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
We weigh larger sections before and after extraction to confirm actual moisture removal.
Extraction dwell time gets adjusted based on how porous the specific concrete surface is.
Furniture and upholstered items get evaluated on-site for extraction versus replacement.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
Four steps, no guesswork, from your first call to a verified water extraction result.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Water Extraction jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
A technician assesses the scope on-site and provides a written flat-rate quote before any work begins.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"They pulled water from between our hardwood boards without warping them further, which I honestly didn't think was possible."
Jasper L., Reedley"They tested pad separately from carpet, which caught moisture I would've missed entirely."
Rosalind P., Reedley"No hidden per-gallon charges — the quote held exactly."
Micah S., Reedley"The pad testing caught moisture the carpet surface alone never would have revealed."
Fernanda Q., Reedley"They walked me through exactly what the moisture meter was reading at each stage."
Zora P., ReedleyThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Aqua Guard Water Damage dispatches water extraction specialists throughout Reedley and the surrounding zip codes, including 93654.
Whether your address sits in the city core or a neighboring zip code, the same water extraction response standard applies.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our water extraction service area, just call — we'll confirm quickly rather than making you guess.
